Kristopher Schmaltz is a Senior Consultant with Nichols Applied Management. Kristopher’s primary practice areas include strategy, policy analysis, municipal governance, economic development, public engagement, program evaluation, organizational review, and process improvement. His clients include municipalities, economic development organizations, Indigenous communities, and the provincial government. Kristopher works collaboratively with clients to facilitate the development of appropriate solutions to meet their unique needs. Kristopher began his career working as an economic development officer in rural Saskatchewan where he supported and lead various regional initiatives. Prior to working as a consultant, Kristopher spent over five years with the Government of Alberta where he held a variety of responsibilities including grant management and community relations, program review and evaluation, legislative and regulatory analysis, stakeholder engagement, and policy analysis. Kristopher holds a Master of Public Policy from the Johnson-Shoyama School of Public Policy where he focused on performance management, innovation policy, and governance.
